4Junior Playground - Side
Sometimes the children practise their basketball
and netball skills by shooting the ball into the
nets that are fixed on the wall down the side of
the school. Other games are played down here too.

5Junior Playground - Rear
The rear of the playground is a great place for
football and other ball games like cricket. At
Cornholme we are very sporty and have lots of
teams for different sports. We enter as many
competitions as we can.

Class 4 Mr. Johnson
Mr Johnson is also the head of Sports. He teaches
and encourages all the pupils, both girls and
boys, to participate. He is a brilliant teacher
to have. He does his best to make everyone happy.
He has collected a number of pupils to take part
in a Football team and has also organised a team
for the the Swimming Gala

is. With all the displays and messages it helps
the children think, most of all about
responsibility when putting coats on pegs, so
that there are no accidents at all.

16Computer Suite
We currently have 15 PCs in here and, as you can
see, it is a very popular place! Each class has
a regular computer lesson, we run daily dinner
time clubs and also have two after school clubs.

Cornholmes Class 6 are kind, considerate and
trustworthy. Most of the class have Yellow hat or
Buddy jobs, which means they help out around the
school with the Nursery children during playtimes
and in the Dinner hall. Their teacher, Mrs.
Walker is also the Deputy Head Teacher and she
leads them very well through the S.A.Ts, when
they all work very hard!

Class Five have had a brand new classroom built
for them that gives a wonderful view of
Cornholme. Mrs. Smith, the Teacher and Deputy
Head Teacher, describes her pupils as The
Fantastic Fives because they always try their
best.

The Library means a lot to the children at
Cornholme School. There is a wide selection of
books, from Encyclopaedias to amazing adventure
books. We have a new system where every book has
a bar code and you scan your books or video back
in when you are finished. The library is also a
place to go at dinnertime and playtime if you
want some time to yourself.

The Infant Playground is a quite large playing
area with paintings on the floor and targets on
the walls. The Infants have plenty of room to
play and they really like it here.
