Secure Web portal
  • The secure Web portal will allow DHS authorized
    providers access to perform various
    internet-based self-service functions, such as
  • Verify current client eligibility
  • Perform clerk maintenance
  • Submit, track and view claims
  • Submit, track and view prior authorization
    requests
  • Perform Health Services Commission (HSC)
    prioritized list inquiries
  • View plan of care information

Secure Web portal
  • The secure Web portal is free of charge and
    designed to be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days
    a week.
  • Access to the Web portal requires
  • An Internet connection
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7, or Firefox
    2.0
  • Authorization from DHS to access Web portal
    services
  • Your Provider ID and the Personal Identification
    Number (PIN) issued by DHS

ID and PIN
  • To access the secure provider Web portal for the
    first time, providers must login using their DHS
    provider ID and a Personal Identification Number
    (PIN) sent by DHS.
  • DHS will mail Personal Identification Number
    (PIN) letters to eligible providers.
  • Providers must use their provider ID and PIN to
    login for the first time only.
  • After the account has been set up, providers will
    login using their own username and passwords you
    will no longer need the PIN letter.

  • Monday through Friday
  • Closed for the major holidays

Getting started
  • Before starting, be sure to allow enough time to
    complete the process.
  • The session will end after 20 minutes of
    inactivity.
  • Any work or changes that have not been submitted
    will be lost.
  • If your session expires you will receive a
    message.

  • In the address field of your Internet browser,
    type https//www.or-medicaid.gov.
  • You may also copy, paste or save as one of your
    favorites.
  • Press the enter key.

Accessing the main menu
  • Select account from the main menu bar.
  • Select secure site or account setup from the
    drop-down list.

  • Click on the setup account button.

  • Enter your Provider ID and PIN.
  • Because the PIN is case-sensitive, enter it
    exactly as indicated on your letter.
  • Click on the setup account button.

  • The account profile screen allows providers to
    setup their account profile during the first
    initial login.
  • Account setup only needs to be completed once.
  • All required fields marked with an asterisk are
    required.

  • Once you click on the account setup button, the
    ID and PIN have faded and are unavailable for
    updating you will never see them again.

  • The person setting up the initial account is the
    administrator for your office.
  • The user name is a unique name for your office.
  • Contact name, phone number, and secret questions
    would be the administrators.
  • The administrator will set up accounts for the
    rest of the office.

  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
  • Passwords must include 3 of the following 4
    criteria
  • Upper case letter(s)
  • Lower case letter(s)
  • Number(s)
  • Special character(s)
  • Example D1d1234d (contains criteria 1-3)

  • Read the security agreement.
  • Check I Agree.
  • If you do not check I Agree, you will not have
    access to the secured provider Web site.
  • Click the Submit button.

Logging off
  • Be sure to logoff when you are done browsing or
    working.
  • Click Account from the menu bar.
  • Click Logoff.
