Rules for Proposals
  • MAIs must contain at least 4 related credits
    (unless CCD specifically states multiple credit
    is allowed)
  • Proposals are for additions only
  • Certain courses are not available (IB, AICE, some
    Social Studies, non-credit courses, transfer
    courses, etc.)
  • DOE majors are not available to modify (CCD, GSV,
    AA, AICE, AP, IB, etc.)

    Education for approval

Reconciliation File
  • COMPARISON of ePEP Course File with student
    transcripts
  • Attaches MAI code to a course (however, the MAI
    must have been included in the ePEP Course File
    or previously entered on a students transcript)
  • If a course could count for more than one of the
    MAIs designated by the student, the
    Reconciliation file course record will have more
    than one MAI on it (up to a maximum of 20).

  • COMPARISON of ePEP Course File with student
    transcripts
  • When matching courses with MAIs designated by the
    student, three types of matches are provided
  • 1 course appeared on the students ePEP
  • 2 elective course not on the ePEP, but still
    among the courses which could be used on one of
    the students designated MAIs
  • 3 same as type 2, except that the course has a
    core subject area (EN, MA, SC, etc.) and might
    not be an elective district must investigate
    further

  • This year, only Grades 9 and 10 are considered in
    preparing Reconciliation Files.
  • Available at NWRDC, three times a year
  • You access these files using your school
    districts Bright Futures logon ID
  • OBDXnn
  • nn is the school district number.
