McGill MBA Marketing Association
Net Impact
Marketing is the engine that drives business
forward. It is many disciplines under the same
umbrella brand management, advertising and
communications, marketing research, online
marketing, customer relationship and customer
experience management. It is an essential
component of every industry, whether local or
global, business-to-consumer or
business-to-business retail, high-tech,
entertainment, manufacturing... And to be truly
effective, marketing must be aligned and
intertwined with all other areas of business,
including strategy, finance, and operations.
M3A is the club for MBA students with a
marketing background, interested in career
options in this field, or simply out to
participate and have fun. We organize hands-on
skills tutorials, provide opportunities to learn
from and exchange ideas with experienced
marketing professionals, and both foster and draw
on an enthusiastic network of alumni in the
marketing field. Please use this website to learn

positive social, environmental, and economic
impact. With more than 120 student and
professional chapters around the globe, a central
office in San Francisco, and partnerships with
leading for- and non-profit organizations, Net
Impact enables members to use business for social
good in their graduate education, careers, and

position to influence what happens in society for
years to come. With this power comes
responsibility and opportunity. We can choose to
ignore this responsibility, and allow problems
such as economic inequality, environmental
degradation and social injustice to persist. Or,
as business leaders, we can realize our potential
to create lasting social change. Net Impact
exists for this purpose - to harness the power of
business to create a better world. Upcoming

MBA Rugby Club
The rugby club is the ideal opportunity for MBA
students, no matter the previous rugby
experience, to get involved in a club that builds
on a strong team spirit, that organizes diverse
events through-out the year, that provides great
networking opportunities with McGill alumni and
MBA students from the top tier schools, that gets
dirty when required, that parties hard... and
that promises you an amazing trip south when all
your classmates are sitting in for exams. No
matter in how many other clubs and sports you are
involved at the same time, you cant pass on this
one. This is the McGill MBA Rugby club!

MBA Softball Club
Volleyball Club
Despite an unimpressive track record in the
previous season, the team represented fearsomely
on the court, and at Thompson house. In the last
season we saw vast improvements in the clubs
level of play, both in individual skills and team
coordination. With your involvement, next season
promises to bring us much deserved respect on the
scoreboard, in addition to the laughs and
camaraderie weve had in the past (not to mention
stress relief and exercise). Games are played on
a weekly basis (for the most part), and the
intramural league runs throughout each term, with
playoffs at the end of each season. McGill also
schedules pick-up Volleyball at the Tomlinson
Fieldhouse starting in September. For those
interested in beach volleyball, Milton Park
offers facilities at an affordable rate very
close to campus.   In the past we have formed
only one Intermediate level intramural team. The
club hopes to grow this in the coming season to
include a Competitive level team, as well as to
participate outside of intramurals to take
advantage of the great facilities McGill has to
offer. This way members will have more options to
participate at an appropriate level of
involvement and caliber of competitive
play.   The expected cost of enrollment is 10 /
semester to cover the intramural registration
fees, however this varies with the size of the
teams and the variety of events members get
involved in. We are looking to expand! If
interested, please dont hesitate to contact me
by email with your questions and/or
suggestions                Executive Contact
