Hydrogel 50ml
Hydrogel is a gel composed of gum arabic and
pyrogenic silica that can be mixed with
water-based paints to achieve impasto effects.

Wetting Agent
Rublev Colours Wetting Agent is a concentrated
additive for paint composed of a surfactant. A
surfactant is a concentrated surface-active
liquid that reduces surface tension, thus
improving wetting and increasing the flow of
waterborne paints.

Rublev Colours Watercolor Medium is a solution of
gum arabic, syrup, glycerin and a small amount of
preservative to make your own watercolor paint.

Clove Oil
Clove Oil from the leaf of the plant by steam
distillation. Use to prevent skin forming on oil
paint. Add to egg tempera, emulsions and glues to
prevent mold and bacteria. Clove oil is composed
primarily of eugenol.

Sodium Carbonate, also known as soda ash or
washing soda, is a strong alkali and a sodium
salt of carbonic acid. It most commonly occurs as
a crystalline heptahydrate in large transparent
crystals, which readily effloresces, losing a
large quantity of water to form a white powder,
the monohydrate.

Formaldehyde (Formalin)
Formaldehyde (also called Formalin) is a 4
solution of formaldehyde to harden gesso and
chalk grounds and glue sizing on canvas or
panels. The spray bottle has a fine misting pump
spray. Spray formaldehyde solution onto freshly
applied gesso or chalk grounds made with collagen
glue (animal or fish glue) as the binder.
