    the new experience of living in urban settings.
    Many of them felt lost and alone in this new
    setting.
  • Why might feelings of being lost and alone lead
    people to seek new philosophies or religions?

    Epicureanism and Stoicism. Prepare a presentation
    in which you sell your philosophy. Present it
    to the class.

    allied itself with Carthage. After the Second
    Punic War Rome attacked and conquered Macedonia
    and eventually controlled the entire region.
