  • Wyomings economy heavily relies on its land. The
    land provides Wyomings most valuable
    product-coal. Most of the states manufacturing
    plants process the products of Wyomings mines
    farms and forests.
  • Wyomings land is one of its tourist attractions
    because the scenery is great. One of the most
    famous and oldest national park is Yellow stone.
    It is so famous because of its land and the
    famous geyser Old Faithful. There is a famous
    rock hill called Devils Tower.
  • Wyoming is mostly famous for its mountains. But
    not all of Wyoming is mountainous. Between the
    mountain ranges and the treeless fields, Wyoming
    is a beautiful state. Some large fields are
    dotted with rugged lonely towers called buttes.

  • The first people that lived in Wyoming were the
    Indians which lived there over 11,000 years ago.
    The Johnson County War was in 1892. The battle
    was about the cattlemen thought they were being
    looted (stolen). Later the cattlemen found out
    they were being looted and later won the war.
  • One of the special events is the Frontier days
    which is celebrated in Cheyenne. It started in
    1897 and is still going on today. It goes for 10
    days in July. Another event that is all over
    Wyoming is bull and horse rodeos.

  • If New York was its own nation, it would be one
    of the most richest, most productive country on
    earth. To keep its enterprises running smoothly
    requires close cooperation between state
    government and the business community.
  • In New York there are many tourist attractions.
    One of then is boat rides on Lake Erie and the
    famous Niagara Falls. There are many kinds of
    sports in New York like football, hockey,
    baseball, and basketball. There are also many
    places to see plays. One of the most famous
    places to see a play is Broadway.
  • The first people to live in New York were the
    Indians. The Indians were the Mohawk, the Oneida,
    the Onondaga, the Cayuga, and the senica. The
    first explorer was Giovanni Da Verranzano.

  • The New York Harbor can fit Amsterdam, London,
    Hamburg and Antwerp harbors, with room to spare.
    Only the southern tip touches the Atlantic Ocean.
    Have you ever noticed that Long Island sort of
    looks like a fish? New York has a total of 49,108
    square miles.
  • There are many events in New York. One is when
    the ball drops in New York City on New Years
    Day. On Halloween there is a big costume parade.
    On the Fourth of July all around New York there
    are fireworks going off. On almost every holiday
    something happens in New York.
