• The Pennsylvania Digital Library (PADL) is a
  state-wide metadata repository for digital
  resources created by Pennsylvania libraries,
  museums, educational institutions, and other
  cultural heritage organizations.

About the Harvester

• The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Open Archives
  Harvester
• Partnership between University of British
  Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and Stanford
  University
• Creates a searchable index of the metadata from
  OAI-compliant archives. 
• Performs a quarterly full harvest and a weekly
  incremental harvest
