Introduction
  • Table Tennis is popularly known amongst those who
keep a specialized knowledge about this sport. It
is but certain of the fact that when you have
been more specialized in areas that you choose as
right it is naturally true of the fact that you
would want things to fall correct. It is here
that there are certain factors that you would
always want to consider as important.
  • While table tennis seems like an easy game to
many, it is a technical game in reality and one
needs to make sure that they have the right
equipments in order to learn the game
professionally. All its equipments such as
blades, ball, sponge, tables, paddles, nets,
robots etc. are created with technical precision
and the players performance is highly dependent
    on how these equipments function.
  • To conclude, American Table Tennis store is an
extremely important store of your game. If you
are a pro player, you can keep experimenting
until you find the right equipment. However, for
a pro player, such experimenting is not possible
therefore it is important to identify your style
and find the equipment accordingly. After
purchase, it is also necessary to take good care
of the equipment. While American table tennis
equipment requires very less maintenance, one
cannot disregard it completely. Cleaning the
blades, replacing worn out sponge and cleaning
the nets are some of the basics of equipment
    maintenance.

Equipment Need To Play
  • One of the many things that any aspiring table
tennis player must learn in order to become a
very good player is the many kinds of table
    tennis equipment that is used.
  • To start playing table tennis, the minimum you'll
need is a racket, a supply of table tennis balls
and a table tennis table. But as your standard of
    play improves beyond a beginner's level, there's
a vast array of other equipment you'll want to
buy. First you'll need some suitable table tennis
clothing - a table tennis shirt, shorts or skirt
    - together with table tennis shoes. And if you're
setting up a club you'll also need other
accessories such as barriers, scoring machines
and possibly a robot (ball launcher) and a good
    quality floor covering.
  • Basically, there are four pieces of equipment
that are used and that include Table Tennis
Ball, Table Tennis Racket or Table Tennis Paddle,
Table Tennis table and Table Tennis Net, Table
Tennis Robot Table Tennis Rubber, Rubber Cutting
    Knife.

Table Tennis Racket
  • A table tennis racket is made up of two distinct
parts - a wooden blade which incorporates the
handle and table tennis rubbers affixed to each
side of the blade using special table tennis
glue. Most rackets are actually all very similar
in size - about 15cm (6 inches) across and 25cm
(10 inches) long including the handle.
  • Rackets covered with pimpled rubber ruled the
game of table tennis until the early 1950s, when
sponge bats appeared. The first player to use a
sponge bat was Austrian Waldemar Fritsch at the
    1951 World Championships.
  • Use of the first offensive sponge bats began only
after the 1952 World Championships in Bombay,
when the Japanese players using these rackets
proved to be quite a sensation. Hiroy Satoh of
Japan, for example, become World Champion in men
singles using a racket covered with a sponge.

Table Tennis Tables
  • Table tennis has evolved significantly since its
surprise birth upon the sporting world, acquiring
many revisions of rules and seeing an evolution
of equipment as technology and playing styles
changed. Such refinement only serves as evidence
that table tennis tables is indeed a full-fledged
sport, comparable to any of the other classics we
    behold with reverence.
  • The table is 2.74 m (9 ft) long, 1.525 m (5 ft)
wide, and 76 cm (30 inch) high with a Masonite (a
type of hardboard) or similarly manufactured
timber, layered with a smooth, low-friction
coating. The table or playing surface is divided
into two halves by a 15.25 cm (6 inch) high net.
An ITTF approved table surface must be in a green
    or blue color.

6
Table Tennis Rubber
  • There are two main types of rubber - inverted and
pimpled. Anti Spin Rubber, sometimes referred to
as smooth rubber, is actually just pimpled rubber
that is inside out, so that the underside of the
pimples is facing outward over a spongy layer.
The spongy layer serves to add either better
control or faster speeds, depending on exactly
how it is made. Inverted rubber is also stickier
than pimpled rubber, which helps players make
    better spin shots.
  • Anti-spin rubber is an inverted sheet of rubber
featuring a very slick top sheet with a dead
sponge layer. The resulting effect is a rubber
sheet that is excellent for blocking, returning
serves and great for changing the pace. For those
that rarely use both sides of the racket during
play, anti-spin rubber would be ideal for the
backside. Your opponent will generally find
himself confronted with a ball with little
rotation, or a knuckle ball. This tends to lead
to a ball that you can easily attack. A great
    addition to your arsenal.

7
Table Tennis Paddles
  • The best and most expensive racket on this list.
This one truly has it all. Incredible speed and
massive spin while being very precise and
consistent. It is essential to understand that
this is not your typical pre-made paddle. It uses
Tenergy 80 FX for the rubbers and the Butterfly
BalsaCarbo X5 blade. These are very high-quality
parts. Just the red rubber face costs more than
the whole STIGA Evolution bat. This is basically
a custom made racket that have Custom Table
    Tennis Paddle.
  • This Butterfly Proline paddle has by far the most
speed and spin on this list. It uses very
high-quality parts that blend together to produce
    a very high-performance racket.
  • So why isnt this our first place you ask? Well,
it would have been if not for the price. This is
a very expensive piece of craftsmanship that does
    not fully justifies its price.

Table Tennis Robot
  • Basic Table Tennis robots provide a way to
practice basic moves and footwork free from
intimidation at a low price point. Basic machines
will usually hold up to 100 balls in a top load
basket. They'll be controlled with either a wired
    or wireless remote control.

Table Tennis Balls
  • The material used to make table tennis balls
changed from celluloid to a non-flammable plastic
(often referred as plastic balls, poly balls
or 40 balls). These balls are a tiny bit
bigger than the 40mm celluloid balls, but the
main difference is the type of material they are
    made from.
  • The international rules specify that the game is
played with a light 2.7 gram, 40 mm diameter
ball. The rules say that the ball shall bounce up
2426 cm when dropped from a height of 30.5 cm on
to a standard steel block thereby having a
coefficient of restitution of 0.89 to 0.92.
  • The 40 mm ball was introduced after the 2000
    Olympic Games.

Conclusion
  • Sport goods, equipment and accessories can amount
to cost a lot of money thus making it important
to learn some important points to maintaining the
equipment in the correct manner. All equipment
requires to be maintained in the correct manner
each sport person must place close attention
towards the maintenance, care and storage of
sports equipment to ensure it lasts as long as
    possible.
  • With the increase of sport accessory stores
American Table Tennis is also selling best table
tennis goods online quality must remain high
while shopping. The best way of ensuring you get
high quality accessories is by sticking to
accessories being sold for an average price
rather than chasing after big discounts.
Discounts are the biggest signal of quality since
low prices usually mean the item is made using
    inferior quality materials. Table tennis
accessories bought on the internet will usually
come for big discounts but that also leads to
major quality concerns so stick to items which
come for an average cost which closely compares
to other websites selling the same item.
  • Shopping for game accessories online must
carefully be learned and perfected since it plays
a major role towards how you perform while
playing the game. Considering specific details
such as the weight of a table tennis ball plays
an important role since the table tennis balls
will usually weigh a specific amount of grams
which needs to remain the same to deliver high
performance while playing the game. If you have
