Watercolor
- Watercolor Medium is a solution of gum arabic,
syrup, glycerin and a small amount of
preservative. Maintains watercolor's transparency
and brilliance. Use it to increase watercolor
transparency and brightness or to improve
adhesion and spread the brush stroke. Mix with
dry pigments to provide a smooth, water-soluble
paste with a honey-like consistency.
2Hydrogel 50ml
Hydrogel is a clear gel that thickens the
consistency of watercolor, allowing better
control, adding texture and gloss. Mix it with
any water-based paint or apply it pure with a
spatula on the surface of paper or absorbent
ground prior to painting.
3Crystal Water Varnish 8 fl oz
Crystal Water Varnish is a medium that increases
the gloss and brilliance of watercolor. Apply
over dried watercolor or mix with color prior to
painting. The gloss decreases when diluted with
water. Retards drying and remains water soluble.
4Guar Gum
Guar gum is used to make emulsions, for marbling
colors and to thicken water-based paint.Guar gum
is the ground endosperm of guar beans. The guar
seeds are dehusked, milled and screened to obtain
the guar gum. Our guar gum is produced in
Pakistan as a free flowing, pale, off-white, fine
ground powder, greater than 200 mesh.
5Clove Oil
Clove oil is a colorless or pale yellow oil
derived from the clove tree cultivated in the
Moluccas or Spice Islands (now Maluka of
Indonesia), Madagascar, Zanzibar, and the
Philippines. The principle component of clove oil
is eugenol. It is very slightly soluble in water
and soluble in organic solvents.
6Fumed Silica
Fumed silica (also called pyrogenic silica) is a
hydrophilic silica with a specific surface of 200
square meters per gram. Add to thicken and
increase the transparency of paint. 1 quart (946
cc). A hydrophilic silica with a specific surface
of 200 square meters per gram. Fumed silica has a
chain-like particle structure that bonds together
to trap liquid, thereby increasing the viscosity.
