cystitis, gonococcal infection, etc. caused by
bacteria. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is prescribed
for This drug is a cephalosporin antibiotic.
This is basically used for the treatment of
infections. These infections are caused by
susceptible strains of the designated
microorganisms.

Below are the dosage information for Cepodem 200
Tablet - Dosage of Cefpodoxime Proxetil As per
the seriousness of the disease and the age of the
patient, the dose of the drug varies. Adults
Maximum The dose should not be more than 400 mg
per day. Pneumonia 200mg  afterevery 12hrs for
the period of 14 days.  Bronchitis, sinusitis
200mg after every 12hrs for the period of 10
days. Pharyngitis/tonsillitis 100mg after
every 12hrs for the period of 10 days.  Skin
400mg after every 12hrs for the period of 14 days.
