Fitted Bed Sheets have elastic seams on all four
sides (or two sides). These sheets never slip off
the mattress during sleep.
Flat Bed Sheets look more or less like a large
rectangular piece of cloth, with no seams.

Now let's discuss the fabrics used in bed sheets

• Bedsheets are made from fabrics such as cotton,
  polyester, nylon, silk, etc. All these are made
  for different climates. Some fabrics are useful
  for the winter season and some others, for the
  summer season. So, buying a bedsheet needs some
  thought behind it.

• Cotton Bed sheets Commonly, there are two types
  of cotton bed sheets. One is Egyptian cotton and
  the other Upland cotton.

Egyptian Cotton bed sheets are luxurious because
it is made with extra-long fibers. It is very
soft and smooth.
Upland cotton is made with shorter fibers. It is
not as soft as the other varieties.
The cotton bed sheets are breathable, durable,
soft, easy-to-care, etc. So, it provides a
peaceful sleep and is affordable as well.

• Polyester Bed Sheets Polyester is an artificial
  fiber. It is produced from the same polymer that
  is used to make plastic water bottles. The
  polyester bed sheets are cheaper than other
  bedsheets. One of the advantages of polyester bed
  sheets is that they keep you warm. So, use it in
  the winter season for a good warm sleep.

• Nylon Bed Sheets Nylon is a synthetic material.
  Nylon bed sheets are soft, strong, durable and
  lightweight. But, direct sunlight can damage
  them. It cannot hold heat that much.

• Silk Bed Sheets Silk bed sheets are super
  luxurious. So people who love luxury can go for
  it. The soft fibers used in silk bedsheet is
  produced from silkworms. It feels very soft to
  your body.
