Yorkshire Terrier Dog Puppies Breed
  • The Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkie as its called,
is very confident, intelligent and active for a
little dog. It was first recognized by the AKC in
1885 and is one of the most popular dog breeds in
the world. It is a curious breed which is eager
    to learn
  • The Yorkie is a small dog having a small head
short muzzle eyes are prominent and set apart,
nose is black ears are v-shaped and stand erect
teeth meet in a scissors or level bite legs are
straight and tail is small and slightly curled
    over the back.

7
Teacup Maltese Breed
  • The exact origin of the Maltese breed is unknown.
Some say that the breed derives its name from the
island of Malta. Other theories suggest that the
Maltese got its name from a now non-existent town
    of Melita in Sicily.
  • The Maltese is believed to have descended from a
Spitz type dog, although other speculations
suggest it might be a descendant of the Tibetan
Terrier. Over the years, the Maltese was
crossbred with smaller breeds such as the Poodle
and miniature Spaniel to further reduce its size.

Teacup Pomeranian Breed
  • The exact origins of the Pomeranian breed is
unknown. However, the breed gets its name from
the region of Pomerania where the breed gained in
popularity. The region of Pomerania is the
present day northern parts of Germany and Poland.
The breed was derived from the Spitz variety and
was originally used a farm dog.
  • However, during the reign of Queen Victoria, the
breed was purposely bred small in size which
resulted in the present day Pomeranian breed over
a period of time. The breed gained immense
popularity during the reign of Queen Victoria as
it was sported by most members of the royal
family. The popularity of the breed continues to
this day. It was first recognized by the AKC in
    1888.

Teacup Shih Tzu Breed
  • The Shih Tzu (pronounced Sheed Zoo) is an ancient
royal dog. This breed is a native of Tibet and
the word Shih Tzu means Lion Dog in Chinese. In
ancient times this breed was very popular in
    Chinese royalty.
  • It is believed that Lhasa Apso was crossed with
Pekingese to produce the Shih Tzu. During World
War II the first Shih Tzu pair was imported to
England. It reached in the United States during
1950s and recognized by the AKC in 1969. Now
Shih Tzu is one of the most popular Companion Dog
    in the world.

Teacup Maltipoo Breed
  • Maltipoos are a popular cross of the Maltese and
Toy or Miniature Poodle. True to their parent
breeds, Maltipoos are affectionate and gentle.
They make super companions for empty-nesters and
are excellent therapy dogs.Cross breeds such as
the Maltipoo are often referred to as designer
dogs, rather than mixed breeds, because they're
purposely bred and are a combination of two known
    breeds.
  • Because both Poodles and Maltese are considered
non-shedders, people who breed Maltipoos hope to
end up with a hypoallergenic dog.

Teacup Poodle Breed
  • The Poodle has been known throughout Western
Europe for at least 400 years and is depicted in
15th century paintings and in bas-reliefs from
the 1st century. The subject is controversial of
where the dog was officially developed and no one
really knows the breeds true country of origin.
  • France has taken a claim on the origin, but the
AKC gives the honor to Germany, where they say it
was used as a water retrieval dog. Other claims
have been Denmark or the ancient Piedmont. What
is certain is that the dog was a descendant of
the now-extinct French Water Dog, the Barbet and
    possibly the Hungarian Water Hound.
