• One test for epilepsy is a spinal tap (lumbar
  puncture) a procedure in which the fluid

• In ancient text Charak Samhita Epilepsy is
  mentioned in details in chapter 5 of chikitsa
  sthan.
• In Ayurveda, epilepsy is known as "Apasmara" and
  epileptic attacks are known as "Akshepaka". In
