scroll to the bottom for the More Quick Links
drop down menu. Click on the arrow to collapse

- Direct login URL http//www.sjsu.edu/login
- Under the Select System column, select the
Spartan Faculty Web Wizard. You will see your
log in window pop up. - Make sure all pop up blockers are disabled before
you log in.
13Step 1 Go to SJSU home page. Enter
http//www.sjsu.edu/login
14Step 2 Click on the Spartan Faculty Web Wizard
link in the Select System column
15Step 3 Pop up Login window appears
16Step 3 Disable Pop-up Blocker from the Tools Menu
17Step 4 Click the Pages icon to start
- Click icon to start authoring
- Click the Hammer icon to change user data i.e.
password or reset View to Administration view
18Steps 5 To Lock your site from visitors,
enter the Edit environment
19Step 6 Faculty Page window appears. Input data
in the fields.
20Step 7 Click the Add New Course button to create
new Course Companion page
21Step 8 Save input on each page by clicking on
the OK button at the bottom
22Step 9 In course companion page you can edit the
fields and upload documents.

the Faculty Page

- Click on the Hammer icon on the first page after
login. - Click on the User Data tab
- Click on the Change Password button to change
password. - It does not require special rules for setting
password in this version. - Copy your password somewhere for future
reminder.

27Tips on Adding Faculty Photos
- Requires a .jpg file format.
- Browse for your photo that is edited to 138 pixel
X 138 pixel at 72 dpi resolution already. - Select file and click. You will see a file name
given to your photo in the left field. - Web Wizard provides a default visual of the
campus if no photo is selected.
28Tips on Editing Course Companion
- Select Inactive radio button if you are not
ready to publish to the Internet. - Text box 1 will be labeled as Course Description,
- Text box 2 is for additional information for the
description.
29Tips on Uploading Files
- Arrange your files for upload in the sequence you
want to appear in your own folder BEFORE
uploading. - Current Web Wizard does not support rearranging
order of uploaded documents. - Try to upload .html or .pdf files for easy
browser viewing purpose. - File size affects uploading and downloading
performance if file saving is required. - Type your preferred file name for your students
in the Link Title - File name will appear under Document Listing
after transfer is completed.

- Click the Add New URL button.
- Copy and paste the URL of your web site into the
URL field. - Type your preferred title for this URL in the
Link field.

ty_pages - Search for your page by name.
- Copy the URL of your site
- Paste it in a new email for yourself and title it

- Disable all Pop Up Blockers in your Internet
browser, Google, etc. - Keep your password handy in your e-mail folder
for Spartan - Bookmark your login URL and your published sites
URL - You are responsible for your sites contents that
is open to the public.
