Here is a look at the homes from time to time,
and when the members go house-hunting, it is
pretty predictably a technology that is search
driven. Searching for the homes for rent or sale
using online platforms is better than relying on
the brokers those are looking to maximize the
commissions as well as rarely listen to
understand what you are looking for from the
homes. The problem is that with many real estate
websites as well as the property apps to look
for, how do these even get started? In the search
for a house to rent, things began with searching
for apartments on Google to generate a lot of
leads, from varied platforms which include
apartment message-boards. Actually, the message
boards a useful resource, many people list on
the internal boards to keep home among the know
people as they get fewer applicants as the
result, increasing the chances. With some
research in the listings, look at what apps are
actually popular, we came to shortlist of
different platforms. No Broker As per the name,
one will see homes listed by the owners, you are
not stuck paying huge brokerage fee as the
company itself says that it verifies all the
owners. There is a checklist for owners to
follow, to make sure that all listings contain
sufficient enough information to be useful. In
the terms of listings and the details, No Broker
does it great job. It is not well- known,
however, which is why it at times felt like it
has fewer listings than others. Itself, the app
is looking good and apart from the rentals, it
includes buying homes, flatmates and hostels. One
can easily and quickly set up the basic filters
as well as the results are pretty easy to browse.
Also, there is a map view that lets one see
where everything really is. An area where it
could be better is its suggested- No Broker
sends you suggests of flats ad despite the
research being in Bangalore, it thought it would
be a good idea to pop up the homes in Thane.
Also, it sends the suggestions in areas that
were over 10 km away from localities has been
searching in, which is far from the ideal. Common
Floor Within Bangalore at least, in the
experience, CommonFloor has the biggest set of
listings. That is a huge advantage and most
important part of looking for homes. It defaults
to show broker and owner listings, thus you have
got an extra step to see the listings without the
agents. The filters are easy to set up, and easy
toggle on top lets one switch between renting
and buying. If you are looking for a flatmate or
PG, CommonFloor would not help, but for the
family looking for a home to move into the
solids. The view of the map is pretty smooth and
continues to search you scroll. Also, the
CommonFloor has a huge number of 3D tours of
properties which helps to cut down the site
visits on numbers. Most of the organizations are
now beginning to do this, but it actually appears
that CommonFloor already has a good collection,
at least in Bangalore. There are some issues as
well. For one, it tries to enable your Wi-Fi
which feels intrusive. Also, when one wants to
contact the homeowner, you at times have to
re-enter phone number even after signing. Also,
many of the homeowners made the mistake on the
CommonFloor listings, for instance, possession
date or the amount of deposit was sometimes
wrong. Worth pointing out here is that the
platform of CommonFloor is extremely spam- you
get a lot of notifications by SMS and mail, which
can be useful but if one is on the app, it
actually is better if that could just be
contained within that instead.

Coldwell Banker Favista This real estate company
has varied projects listed in it across India. It
certainly pays prime focus on cities such as
Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Thane. The site
is easy to navigate and one can easily search a
property across and find in some ideal deals for
projects. One can search not only just
residential properties but also for the
commercial properties. The site saves a lot of
time of the visitors as one can even contact the
sales executives with just a click. Coldwell
banker Favista would let the property buyers
find the best properties from reputed developers
along with the map view of the
locations. Housing.com Only housing.com
presently reintroduced its rentals features,
which has actually been shut down in 2015, with
claimed 60,000 verified listings. The number of
listings is certainly lower than the competition.
What are liked were how smoothly view of the map
worked and the facts that each listing has a
huge number of pictures, some listings on other
sites had small thumbnail images which
housing.com manages to avoid amongst the
listings we saw. On the other side, the website
is a bit difficult to navigate. The app does not
support the rentals yet running the latest
version of Android app at the time of writing
and it has only homes to buy but if one is
looking for homes, checking out housing.com is
not a bad idea. One will be able to get the good
look at homes before one decides to visit all
details one needs to know also are available.
Setting the filters up and actually searching is
pretty simple. The problem comes with the result
themselves while looking cluttered and end up
looking a bit confused.
99 acres The oldest one in the list, 99 acres has
the biggest number of listings ad one is
literally a tap away from search in the general
area which is handy if one is already out house
hunting as well as pull-out the app. Also, it
has a filter which is called listing quality
which lets one limit results to the homes with
videos or photos or the properties that 99 acres
have been verified physically. That is pretty
great and can save a lot of time. While the
website feels outdated at this point, the app is
pretty fast, and quick. In terms of the
listings, it is found that lot of choose from,
though one would actually add some sort of
distance option along with the date and price
options. One does not have fine-grained control
over rate slider in the app, so one can search
for 25,000 or 30,000 or 40,000 for instance. This
can actually be tricky if the budget falls in
between the set of the bounds. The mode of maps
on app works, but it is not as detailed as others
tried and do not load listings as quickly. If
one is making use of 99 acres, it has almost all
the information you need anyway.
