Safety Information
Consult with your physician about using Latisse
if you are being treated for glaucoma or eye
pressure conditions, if you have other eye
conditions, or if you have had or plan to have
eye surgery. Latisse is not recommended for use
by women who are pregnant or nursing. Contact
lenses should always be removed before using the
product, and it should only be applied at the
base of the upper lashes. Do not apply to lower
lid or the surface of the eye. Side effects may
include itching or redness in the eyes. Some
patients experience darkening of eyelid skin,
which may be reversible. In rare instances when
bimatoprost is used in the eye, brown areas of
the iris may darken, causing an overall darkening
of eye color that is likely permanent. Do not use
Latisse outside the treatment area as hair
growth may result hair may also grow outside the
treatment area. Lashes will return to former
appearance if Latisse use is discontinued.
