Electronic Communications Act
  • ICASA Act Amendment Act passed simultaneously
  • Repealed in Telecommunications Act and the
    Independent Broadcasting Authority Act

    broadcasting and postal services Independent

    after termination

RICA Amendment Penalties and Transition

  • SP non-compliance on conviction liable to a
    fine of R100 000 per day of non-compliance

    imprisonment not exceeding 12 months
