- Meets every 3 months
6Developing the role of the Mental Health Librarian
- The programme also works as a learning forum for
librarians working in mental health - Support network - Mental Health libraries are
often run by solo librarians - Meeting and interviewing various mental health
professionals has enabled group to step inside
their shoes and has informed service delivery

for MRPsych - Consultants often ask their secretaries to do
literature searching for them - Knowledge Discovery Programme to build their
expertise

- New username and passwords now set up by library
in advance and given to new trainees on their
induction on an NeLH credit card. - Group has started discussions with ATHENS to
achieve solution
- ISSUE
- Having to re-register for Athens on each rotation
is a deterrent to using password protected online
resources
