The condition in which inflammation occurs in the
prostate and area around it is called as
Prostatitis or Prostate infection. There are
several types of infection that can affect your
prostate and every one of them has their
different symptoms. Some of them cause severe
pain, while others have no symptoms at all.
Prostatitis is a serious health problem and it
affects seriously on a mans quality of life.
Types of Prostatitis Acute Bacterial
Prostatitis This is the least common type of
Prostatitis and can be easily recognized due to
its typical symptoms on human body. This type of
Prostatitis can affect any age group and causes
very painful symptoms like lack of ability to
empty your bladder completely, painful urination,
fever, chills, and blood in the urine, lower back
pain, painful ejaculation and blood drops in
semen. Urgent hospitalization is mostly required
in these types of cases.

Chronic bacterial Prostatitis This one is also
a very rare type of Prostatitis and results the
bearer in inflammation, heavy swelling and
repeated urinary tract infections. Symptoms of
Chronic bacterial Prostatitis begins slowly and
lasts up to 3 months or more. Symptoms of this
disease are bowel movement pain, ejaculation
pain, blood in urine and semen, pain lower back,
above the pubic bone and testicles, smelly urine
and burning in urination parts. This type of
Prostatitis usually affects the group of young to
middle age

Nonbacterial Prostatitis or Prostatodynia This
one is the most common among all types of
Prostatitis and occurs without any symptoms.
Nonbacterial Prostatitis is a common condition in
men between the ages of 35 to 50 but can lead the
bearer to very serious sexual and urinary problem
if they dont take proper precautions for it. The
symptoms include blood in urine and semen,
burning and pain during urination, frequent need
to urinate, lower back pain and pubic bone pain.

Asymptomatic inflammatory Prostatitis This is
also a type of Prostatitis without any symptoms.
In this case inflammation is found in biopsied
tissues of body or in the body urine, semen and
prostatic fluid.
