Appaloosa
The coat colors of Appaloosas vary from horse to
horse. However, the 7 general categories of coat
patterns are blanket, roan blanket with
spots, spots, roan blanket, blanket
with spots, roan, and solid. Even though the
unusual coat patterns set the Appaloosas apart
from other breeds, they must also possess mottled
skin and either striped hooves or white sclera
around the eyes.
