Jimmy Page
  • Jimmy played guitar for Led Zeppelin.
  • His signature guitar is a 59 sunburst Les Paul
    played through Marshall amplifiers.
  • Jimmy co-wrote famous songs Stairway to Heaven,
    Black Dog, and The Immigrant Song.

Stevie Ray Vaughan
  • Stevie (or SRV) brought Texas style blues to the
    rock forefront in 1983 with his debut release
    Texas Flood.
  • The Stratocaster played through Fender amps were
    his weapons of choice.
  • SRV was called the second coming of Jimi Hendrix
    by many critics and fans. Like Jimi, he played
    Stratocaster guitars and sang lead in a three
    piece band.
  • Stevie died in a helicopter crash shortly after
    performing in 1990.

Angus Young
  • Angus formed AC/DC with his brother Malcolm in
    1973.
  • AC/DC is perhaps the most influential rock band
    to come out of Australia.
  • Angus plays a 61 Gibson SG straight through
    Marshall amps. He rarely takes the stage without
    his signature schoolboy outfit.

Eddie Van Halen
  • Eddie Van Halen is famous for his two handed
    tapping style of playing.
  • He virtually invented divebombing by uitlizing
    a locking tremelo system.
  • Eddie has played custom Strats, Kramers,
    Charvels, and Ernie Ball guitars through
    Marshalls and later Peavey amps.
  • Eddies brother Alex is the bands drummer.

Jimi Hendrix
  • Jimi rewrote the book on playing guitar when his
    album Are You Experienced? debuted in 1966.
  • He played Fender Stratocasters turned upside down
    through Marshall amplifiers, and utilized a wide
    array of effects to achieve his other worldly
    tones.
  • Perhaps his most famous moment is his rendition
    of the Star Spangled Banner which was performed
    at Woodstock.
  • Jimi died at the age of 27 from an overdose of
    sleeping pills. He rests permanently in Renton.
