  Fauvism meaning wild and that came from the
  bright and wild colors he used in his artwork.
  
• His favorite medium was painting, even tough he
  was also a sculptor, a draughtsman and a
  printmaker.
  
• He was one of the most famous artists of his
  time and most of his paintings were very bright
  and that is what made it most recognizable.
  
• He was born in North- Eatern France where his
  parents owned a seed businesss. He first studied
  law and only started painting in 1889, he later
  said he discovered a kind of paradise.
