Management Structure

• The management structure at the hotel is in each
  department there is
• A Manager
• An Assistant Manager
• A Supervisor (only in the Housekeeping
  Department)
• Every departmental manager reports to the General
  Manager

Front Desk Duties (AM)

• Check out guests
• Pre block incoming Priority Club Members and make
  keys and a Priority Club jacket
• Take reservations
• Talk to housekeeping about possible discrepancies
  in the computer
• Prepare for groups that could be arriving in the
  future

Front Desk Duties (PM)

• Check in guests
• Take reservations
• File registration cards
• Complete Housekeeping Report
• Set wake up calls
• Pick up/Drop off guests at the Airport

What I gained from my co-op experience

• Knowledge of how a front desk runs
• Knowledge of how to deal with guests properly and
  efficiently
• Knowledge of how empowerment in the workplace can
  work efficiently and effectively
