What does the Fossa look like?

• The Fossa is in between a dog and a cat.
• It weighs between 9.5 and 20 kg.
• The Fossas tail is as long as its body.
• Also the Fossa has long whiskers and long hair.
• The Fossa can have any color fur ,but usually it
  has brown or black fur.

Why is the Fossa endangered?

• People have been tearing down Madagascars
  habitat which the Fossa needs.
• The Rainforest is a big amount of land thats
  covered with trees. (The dry deciduous forest.)
• Also the Fossa is not a people animal.

• The Fossa is the largest native predator on
  Madagascar.
• They have a 20 year life span in captivity.
• They are great climbers and jumpers.
• The Fossa sleeps in the day and mostly spends
  its time in trees.
• The fossa is only found in/on Madagascar.

What we can do to help

• We can help the Fossa by recycling things such as
  cans or paper.
• Also we can STOP CUTTING DOWN THE TREES ON
  MADGASCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• The Fossa eats
• Fish, Birds, and the Fossas Favorite,the Lemur.
• The Fossas predator is the Nile Crocodile, but
  the Fossa would only be eaten by the Nile
  Crocodile incidentally.
• Also we are the Fossas predator.
