42
Quality Assurance
  • Applied Membranes is ISO 90012000 Certified
  • Each system is assembled according to
    documentation provided by the Engineering
    Manager
  • Detailed Bill of Materials
  • Individual Work Order number Note The work
order number is used for all steps of
manufacturing and is incorporated in the serial
    number.
  • Detailed Work Order
  • PID drawing
  • Performance data under expected operating
    conditions
  • During assembly each system is checked by the
    Engineering Manager, Assembly Supervisor and
Production lead to ensure that is in accordance
    with the documentation.
  • After assembly each system is performance tested
    under expected operating conditions. Performance
of the system is documented by the Engineering
Manager and Q.C. inspector. Performance data
    documentation includes
  • Feed pressure, concentrate pressure
  • Incoming water quality (TDS)
  • Permeate water quality (TDS)
  • Water Temperature
  • Permeate flow, concentrate flow and recycle flow

43
Quality Assurance
  • After acceptance by the Engineering Manager and
Q.C. inspector, the system is given a serial
number. The serial number includes the work
    order number for traceability.
  • The salesperson makes a final overall check for
appearance and accordance with the customers
    order against the documentation. Salesperson
works with accounting and shipping to make the
    shipment to the customer.
  • Changes to System orders
  • Customer initiated changes are documented by the
sales person and forwarded to the Engineering
    Manager.
  • Engineering Manager works with the Assembly
Supervisor to determine what is needed to make
the change and responds back to the Salesperson.
  • Salesperson forwards the change order to the
Engineering Manager who makes the documentation
changes and works with the Assembly Supervisor to
    implement the change(s).
