• On Friday September 29th 2006, Wolstanton High
  School is launching as a Specialist Humanities
  College.
• You and your parents are invited to attend the
  special afternoon of events which has been
  organised.

See the Mangonel being fired

• The Mangonel was an invaluable Medieval siege
  weapon, similar to a catapult
• The Mangonel fired heavy projectiles from a
  bowl-shaped bucket at the end of its arm.
• It was used for aiming various missiles at
  castles and cities.
