Notre Dame de Paris

• Large, gothic cathedral
• Located in Paris, France
• Built by Maurice de Sully from 1163-1285 (Early
  Gothic Era)

• Started to be built in 1757 by Louis the 10th
  who made Soufflot the leader of this project.
• Church built in honor of Saint Genevieve

• During French Revolution, it was changed to a
  temple in honor of Great Men.
• Was later changed many times from church to
  temple and temple to church.
• 1885- permanently changed to a temple.
• On front of it- For Great Men the grateful
  homeland.
