How did it all begin?
  • Around 500 B.C., Greek rebels rebelled against
    the Persians in Asia Minor (east)
  • Athens helps rebels, but later crushed when
    Persians invade Greece under Xerxes
  • Sparta comes to their aid
  • Greek navy defeats the Persian navy and ends the
    Persian Wars 479 B.C.
