Tip 1 - Keep the Humidity Low
Using a dehumidifier to keep the humidity below
50 can kill fleas and their larvae. Use a
dehumidifier consistently for 2-3 days

Tip 2 - Wash Everything!

• Wash all the fabrics and surfaces that you or
  your pets come into contact with.
• Pet bedding/beds
• Bed sheets
• Rugs
• Throw pillows
• Blankets
• Sofas/chairs
• Consider disposing of anything you find to be
  full of flea eggs, larvae, or excrement.

Tip 3- Use an insect growth regulator (IGR)
Reaching larvae with pesticides and insecticides
can be difficult, so you must spray with an IGR
in order to prevent larvae from turning into
adult insects.

Tip 4- Use a botanical dust that contains Borate
acid
This will help kill larvae. Killing the adult
fleas alone will not solve the problem.

Tip 5- Vacuum thoroughly
Flea larvae can live for months without food, so
if they are not exterminated, will hatch and
re-infest your home. Dust carpet, beds, pet
bedding, sofas, chairs, etc. Vacuum regularly
after an infestation, even after you think you
have killed all fleas.
