When I was four, my mom took my sister and I to
Copenhagen til besøge vor dansk familie (to visit
our Danish family)

• we ate polse (hot dogs)
• we drank sodavand (pop)

• I met our cousins cows!
• I remember this vividly

Last October/November was an important time for
my book nerd side. Within days of each other I
was able to see three of my favourite authors
speak!

Meeting authors is a perfect opportunity for
photos and book signings.
Two days after meeting Amy Sedaris, I was in the
audience for her brother Davids reading. No
pictures, but a nice inscription
A week and a bit later and I was in the audience
for Lemony Snickets reading. Pictures, but not
