• In English, we use several phrases to make
  comparisons, like more than, less than, as
  much as.

  comparisons in Spanish.

• The following phrases can be used with adjectives
  to make comparisons
• más . . . que more. . . than
• menos . . . que less. . .than
• tan . . . como as . . . as

  nouns they describe.
