Michael Harrington became a police officer in
2002. It was not easy for him to enter into the
New York Police Department, which is one of the
most prestigious police departments of the
country. He prepared himself for qualifying the
tests that are mandatory for enrollment into the
department. He was determined to work as an
officer. The journey was not easy for him, he
worked at various places to support his studies
and worked out regularly to maintain the required
fitness level. Joining the New York Police
Department was a dream come true for him. It was
his grit and determination that he became a
police officer in the NYPD. Even after joining
the department, he underwent rigorous training to
prepare himself for the post. Michael Harrington
served as a police officer till 2009.

Michael Harrington Police Officer completed his
B.S in Criminal Justice . He joined John Jay
College of Criminal Justice in 1997 however, he
completed the degree in 2008. He graduated from
the prestigious college with a 3.63 GPA. The
college is fully accredited with the Middle
States Commission on Higher Education and is
known for offering programs in Criminal Justice,
Forensic Psychology, and Forensic Science along
with liberal arts curriculum. He pursued an
Executive Business Diploma from Drake Business
School and enrolled in American Business
Institute for a Certificate course in Word
Processing and Accounting. He acquired vast
experience in sales and marketing before joining
the NYPD.

Michael Harrington Police Officer took up various
jobs before being employed in this service. He
started his career as a stockbroker and served
First Hanover Securities as a registered
representative. He also worked at Investors
Associates, Inc. He shifted his focus to sales
and marketing and joined Clark Boardman
Callaghan/ West Publishing where he was
responsible for marketing the legal publications
to attorneys. He proved to be an asset for the
company. Using his marketing experience, he
served N.W. Ayer, an advertisement company. He
worked for a considerable time with Schick
technologies, Inc. where he was a Sales
Representative and sold digital radiography
systems for dentists. Later on, in 1999, he
joined Inspirica Inc., an online tutoring
service. He also worked at the Art Institute of
New York City.
