• You must have heard of these buzzwords-"XAVC",
  "4K" and "Sony PMW-F55/F5", have you? Ever since
  the first day when the two marvelous camcorders
  Sony PMW-F55/F5 hit the market, they have been
  the subjects of feverish speculation. We have
  heard a lot about the 4K Camcorders, such as
  their size, appearance, accessories, etc. But
  what attract us the most is their strong shooting
  performance-the PMW-F5 can record XAVC videos
  with 2K resolution at 30 fps at one hundred
  Mbits/s while PMW-F55 is able to shoot XAVC with
  4K resolution at 30 fps at 300 Mbit/s and 2K
  resolution at 30 fps at one hundred Mbit/s.
  Thanks to the F5 and F55, the XAVC was brought
  into sudden fame.

  it was developed by Sony, it records 4K
  resolution at 60 fps can delivers outstanding
  video quality and goes on and on. Except for

  about it, for example, "I shot some family videos
  with PMW-F5 but when I was planning to edit it in
  Final Cut Pro, I was blocked. Or "Ive tried to

  accepted by most current applications such as
  iMovie, FCP, Sony Vegas(exclude Sony Vegas 12),
  etc. To make XAVC editable on those professional

  XAVC to Final Cut Pro acceptable video format
  like Apple ProRes 422(MOV).
