    proposed sub-decree to make ISO 9000 and ISO

    use of voluntary standards

    following areas
  • Inspection methods for containers based importing
    of food produce.
  • Standard operating procedures and quality
    systems, including assistance to translate these
    into Khmer.
  • Specific guidance in food quality standards and
    thresholds for levels of contamination.
  • Promotion of the use of voluntary ISO 9000 and
    ISO 14000 standards.
  • Training in product certification systems.

    testing industrial products and calibration

  • The establishment of a co-ordinated National
    Master Plan for the standards and conformance

    industry to become more efficient and
