FORT Glen DISTILLERS RESERVE
  • Distilled using traditional methods
  • Only the finest grain and malted barley are used
  • Malts selected by our Master Blender from
distilleries across Scotland to produce a warming
    and rewarding experience.
  • The exact recipe is a closely guarded secret,
known only to the Master Blender and one other
    person.
  • Well balanced blend of many Single Malt and
    Single Grain Scotch Whiskies.
  • It has a warm and welcoming aroma, its taste is
smooth, round and sweet and it will linger on the
    palate with a pleasing memory.

FORT Glen BLENDERS RESERVE- 12 YEARS OLD -
  • Crafted using traditional methods handed down
over hundreds of years and aged to perfection for
    at least 12 years.
  • Only the finest grain and malted barley are used
  • On the nose one can detect the peat influences
from the distilleries of Islay and the west coast
  • The steely dryness from the distilleries of the
Northern Highlands combining with the sweet and
floral high notes from the distilleries of the
    Speyside region
  • The gentle smoothness from the Lowlands and the
obvious quality of the aged grain.
  • On the palate, it is a smooth, warm, complex
fulsome Scotch with a long, pleasing and smooth
    finish.

FORT GlenWHISKY MAGAZINE REVIEW
  • Martine Nouet said of FORT Glens DISTILLERS
    RESERVE
  • Nose - Sweet, dried apricot, honey, apples
    poached in vanilla syrup
  • Palate - Sweet, fruity, peach compote, cream
    soda, candied ginger
  • Finish - Dry and mouth drying. Faint salted
    almonds
  • Comments - The whisky would be a perfect
companion for a seafood platter as it leaves a
    surprising salty sensation
  • And for FORT Glens BLENDERS RESERVE Martine
    commented
  • Nose - Rich and buttery, butterscotch, greengage
jam. Elegant grain note. Sweet, with a good
integration of wood and oak. Some depth
  • Palate - Round, appetising, toffee, salted butter
caramel, hint of marzipan, some fruit too.
Oranges with a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Finish - Warm, creamy, slightly nutty.
  • Comments - Appetising, pudding-like but not
    oversweet. Well balanced..

FORT GlenJIM MURRAYS WHISKY BIBLE 2012
  • FORT Glen Distillers Reserve
  • "Juicy salivating delivery as it storms down the
    ramparts.
  • FORT Glen Blender's Reserve
  • Any British school kid dating back to WW2 will
recognize the "Fruit Salad" sweet signature on
this. Soft, delicate and evocative t23 and no
less fruit on the delivery as the salivating
citrus makes way for a spicier, oilier middle,
thins out as the grain and vanilla set up camp
an entirely enjoyable blend which is clean and
    boasting decent complexity and weight."

FORT GlenTHE RESPONSIBLE BAR TENDERS OF AMERICA
  • As soon as you sipped either bottle, you can
taste the barrels in which this golden delight
    was aged.
  • I opened the bottle of Fort Glens green-label
bottle, poured a nice heavy shot and topped it
off with a different brand of ginger ale that
wasnt my usual. I sat on my couch, took a gulp
and was surprised by an almost super sweet taste.
I thought to myself, Hmmm? I know I poured a
double, maybe this new ginger ale is sweeter
then what we normally have. I did what any
whisky lover would do and drank the highball with
    a smile.
  • I pulled out my notes and compared them to the
ones that Ive been sent to me and found that
Fort Glen was compared to Chivas Regal, a whisky
also known for a unique sweetness.
  • Drinking Fort Glen is as if all the regions in
Scotland combined the best attributes of their
regional blends into one bottle. The 12 year aged
batch gives me the same feeling that would rival
the glee of 6 Victorias Secret models pillow
fighting to win my affection while dressed in a
tuxedo riding in the back of a Rolls-Royce. There
are thousands of analogies that I can give you
but for a true idea of how good Fort Glen really
is you have to try it for yourself.
