Banana
  • Asian banana milk- small banana (not bigger than
    the thumb of the adult man). It has the compact
    pulp inside. It is possible to eat it raw.

Blimbing
  • Blimbing is a kind of carambola. It is a small ,
    sour fruit which taste remins the lemon. It can
    be eaten raw , and be added to salads and
    preserves.Blimbing has the big nutritional
    value.It is the source of energy.

Fig
  • Fig is a soft , sweet fruit , full of small seeds
    and often eaten dried. Fresh figs are delicious
    and often jam and chutney is made from them .It
    is rich in sugar, provitamin A and mineral salts.

Pomegranate
  • Pomegranate is a thick-skinned round fruit which
    , when ripe , has a reddish centre full of large
    juicy seeds. Grenadine is made out of
    pomegranates. It containes much vitamin C , B and
    iron.

Sugar Apple
  • Sugar apple fruit is usually round or oval ,
    slightly pine cone-like , 6-10 cm diameter and
    weighting 100-230 g . The fruit flesh is
    edible,white to light yellow , and resembles and
    tastes like custard .

  • The small, coming from China fruit is a kind of
    the miniature orange. Its rind is sweet and the
    juicy center is sour. It is frequently eaten raw.

  • Starfruit ( carambola) is a yellow berry type of
    fruit that growse on shrub like trees and has a
    lenght of about 12 cm and five sharp ribs. An
    unripe fruit is green and yellow.Cut into halves
    has a star shape.

Kiwano
  • Kiwano is the horned melon. It is a member of the
    cucumber family. Kiwano looks like an oval melon
    with horns . It is very decorative. Picked green
    , riped orange , the kiwano tastes like a mix of
    lemon and banana. It is a tropical fruit so it
    cannot be stored in a refrigerator.

Lychee
  • Lychee is a fruit with a sweetish white pulp and
    a single seed in a thin brown shell. They are
    called the cherries of Asia because local
    people are very fond of them.

  • Papaya is an orange coloured , fleshy fruit.
  • Papayas are often called tree-melons. Unripe
    fruit can be eaten as a vegetable but ripe fruit
    always contains more vitamins and minerals.
  • It tastes like heaven.

  • Limes are small, oval citrus fruits with porous
    and smooth skin.  Lime colour ranges from light
    to medium green, sometimes with a slight yellow
    cast. Limes and lemons look similar, but limes
    are smaller and green (when ripe), and lemons are
    yellow.

  • Kiwi is a small oval fruit with a brown skin ,
    soft , greenflesh and black seeds. Kiwi is
    originally from China and was improved in New
    Zealand.
  • It contains a protein-splitting enzyme.

Grapefruit
  • Grapefruit is yellow-skinned , largely oblate and
    ranges in diameter from 10-15 cm.The flesh is
    segmented and acidic , varying in colour , which
    include white , pink and red pulps. Grapefruit
    was originally named the forbidden fruit of
    Barbados.

Watermelon
  • Watermelon has a thick rind and fleshy
    center. It is juicy , sweet , usually red or
    yellow , but sometimes orange inside.

  • Mango is a pear shaped fruit with flesh which
    is yellow when ripe.
  • It is one of the oldest fruits known in history.

  • The dark-brown shell is hiding white pulp and
    sweet liquid (coconut milk). This fruit is very
    tough and long-lasting.

  • Pineapple is a large juicy tropical fruit with
    sweet yellow flesh and prickly skin.Indians used
    pineapple plants as a fence because the leaves of
    the plant are very sharp.

  • Artichoke is a perennial thistle originating in
    Southern E purope around the Mediterranean . The
    flowers develop in a large head from an edible
    bud , with numerous triangular scales . The
    individual florets are purple. Artichoke can be
    made into a herbal tea.

  • Okra is a tall tropical herb cultivated for its
    edible pods which look rather like Alladins
    slippers.The fruit is a capsulle up to 18 cm long.

Paksoi
  • Paksoi is a leaf vegetable related to cabbage
    and originally comes from Asia. Paksoi forms
    loose lives reminding chard.

  • Topinambur is a flowering plant native to North
    America grown throughout the temperate world for
    its tuber , which is used as a root vegetable. It
    is also called sunroot or sunchoke.

Sweet potatoes
  • The sweet potato ,commonly called a yam in parts
    of the United States is a crop plant whose large,
    starchy, sweet tasting tuberous roots are an
    important root vegetable. The young leaves and
    shoots are sometimes eaten as greens.

Skorzonera
  • Skorzonera or black salsify is a hardy plant with
    a black root.
  • This confusion about the rear is justified that
    both plants don't actually differ in the taste, a
    way of preparing them is also identical. It is
    necessary before cooking to peel long, quite hard
    rootlets - outside layer skorzonera will be
    black, of salsify whereas bright. In the centre
    of both plants we will find the magnolia pulp
    about characteristic, lightly somewhat bitter,
    but pleasant taste.
