• Name more than one person, place, thing, idea, or
  animal

Rules to make nouns plural

• Add s to make most singular nouns plural
• Add es to singular nouns which end in s, sh, ch,
  x, or z
• If a singular noun ends in a CONSONANT y,
  change the y to i and add es
• If a singular noun ends in a VOWEL y, just add
  an s
