  • The Commitment Process
  • The Senior executive/owner of each major
    participant firm is identified.
  • Prior to agreeing to them being part of the team
a face to face meeting is arranged with the
    senior project executives.
  • The philosophical goals of the project are laid
    out to the participant.
  • The expectations for the specific participant are
laid out and agreed to. Often this is a
restating of a heretofore given sales pitch of
    the participant itself.

20
  • The Commitment Process
  • The personal commitment of the participant senior
    executive is obtained.
  • The understanding that this commitment will be
passed down the line to the contract
administrators, supervisors and workers is laid
    out.
  • The promise to only call on the senior executive
at any indication of a fundamental failure to
    perform is given.
  • The monitoring of the process to keep the senior
executive positively aware of the efforts of his
    people is put in place.
