The "Real Secret" to Health
  • The Hawaii Health Program was conceived in
    part as a response to the high rates of death
    from chronic diet-and-lifestyle-related diseases
    among the Native Hawaiians.
  • The material poverty sets the stage for poor
    health. If nurtured properly, spiritual and
    cultural strength may set the stage for the
    recovery of good health if applied properly.

  • For today's health crisis, the "real secret"
    was in the basic principles of the way they
    looked at health. I've explained five of the
    principles in chapter 3 of this book along with a
    sixth concept that foreshadows an ancient
    prophesy of Hawaii as a World Center for health.

    and spirit.
