Flamethrower test for chicken fat decontamination
on blacktop
23
AES flamethrower test of chicken fat removal. As
the flame moved the cooled chicken fat did not
run out of the pores as fast as the road stopped
being slick after the steam pressure wash worked
on the pores in the pavement. AES and DOW moved
to the steam jenny pressure wash method to get
more pavement done. It took over 8 hours of
pressure washing and steaming to get the fat out
of the pavement surface area due to the smearing
of chicken fat along the pathway of Highway 41
north of Sebree.
24
Test that to burn off chicken fat that in AES and
DOT evaluations was not as efficient as steam
pressure washing the roadway with the goal of
health and safety for life protection paramount.
AES with a DOT permit is trackhoe removing the
shoulder soil and replanting with grass seeding
the shoulders after the soil and scattered parts
of chickens are hauled to the landfill.
