Ferhan Patel has recently become Payza's Chief
Compliance Officer. Being the head of Compliance,
he is not only responsible for developing and
implementing the companys AML/CTF, Compliance,
Fraud and Risk Mitigation policies, but also
makes sure that the policies are integrated into
the design of each product and service of Payza.
Previously, he was the Executive Vice President
(Corporate and Product Marketing) of Payza, and
being in the position, Ferhan Patel led the
companys product development strategies,
strategic alliances, marketing operations, and
new marketing opportunities. He was responsible
for managing overall marketing strategies of one
of the leading online payment processors.

He supervised product identity corporate, public
and marketing strategies placement and strategic
promotions and communication. He ensured that
the tactics and strategies implemented by the
company focus on brand awareness, ROI, and
customer engagement. With his insight and
vision, he led to the growth and success of
Payza. He played a significant role in the
development and deployment of this leading online
payment processor. Ferhan Patel worked as a
Business Analyst Consultant and Team Leader at
CIGNA Inc., which is the 4th largest group health
insurance company in the USA.

While working there, he coordinated with
analysts, developers, and stakeholders designed
functional specifications used by Java developers
and QA developed process flow and designed
diagrams assisted Java developers in
troubleshooting and debugging codes and managed
as well as coordinated all defects during final
testing. Ferhan Patel also worked as a Business
Systems Analyst for the software division of
CWMSoft Inc. He designed web based affiliate
management software targeting small and medium
e-Commerce websites.He designed web based

He handled client software customization
requests, translated requirements into functional
requirements for the development team, handled
escalated support calls, monitored web traffic,
and optimized key marketing strategies using SEO
to get high traffic to the company website. He
also served the Concordia University as a
Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor. He
instructed graduation level courses on C
programming, Linux, shell scripting, Oracle, SQL,
forms and reports. He is an alumnus of the
popular Concordia University. He completed his
Bachelor of Computer Science, Information
Technology in 2003. He pursued Certificate in
Project Management from McGill University in
2006.
