Originally from Chicago, Jeffrey Campos moved to
Denver in 1997 to start a marketing and community
relations department of American Family
Insurance, which is a private mutual company. The
American Family Insurance specializes in auto,
life, health, property, and homeowners insurance
products and services. This department aimed to
cover six-state Mountain Region. As a Marketing
Director, he conceptualized and launched a new
department along with establishing sustainable
strategies.

He set and managed operating budgets and public
relations procedures for community, government,
media, and philanthropic relations. Under his
able guidance, the company expanded from one
state to six state operations. He represented the
company as Chief Spokesperson during outreach
efforts and events. He built up company's
reputation by establishing links with various
community based organizations, associations, and
government officials. Due to his innovative
marketing campaigns, the company earned
high-profile business awards and recognition.

Jeffrey Campos also served New York Life
Insurance, a leading national life insurance
provider. Being a partner, he developed and
managed a financial services department that
provided a range of investment products to an
array of customers. He personally supervised all
advertising and marketing campaigns and business
development events. He represented the company as
a spokesperson and under his leadership, the
company experienced 50 growth in sales and 40
increase in annual recruitment levels in Denver
area. He used his innovative product development,
strategic marketing, and multicultural marketing
skills to help the company expand.

From 2005 to 2011, Jeffrey Campos was the
President and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce and was responsible for developing the
strategic vision and overseeing the routine
operations of the chamber. Under his leadership,
the Chamber became one of the largest Hispanic
Chambers in the country and the second largest
chamber in the state of Colorado. He established
a link between the chamber and the Metro Denver
business community through public policy and
business development initiatives. His efforts led
to the expansion of Chamber's membership and
operating budget.

During his six years tenure, the membership grew
from 300 members to 3000 members and even the
budget expanded from 300K to 1.5M. He not only
overhauled the foundation of the Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce, but also established a Board of
Directors along with formalizing the mission
statements, budget processes, and staff operating
structures.
