Michael Harrington, a former NYPD cop, studied at
John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He
graduated Magna Cum Laude from the college in
2008 with a 3.63 GPA. The college was set up in
1964 with the aim to impart practical knowledge
in criminal justice, Forensic Science, and
Forensic Psychology. The college was named after
John Jay who was the first Chief Justice of the
Supreme Court of the United States and was also
the Governor of New York. He also studied at the
Drake Business School for completing Executive
Business Diploma and studied Accounting and Word
Processing. This course prepared Michael for a
career in the business world. He also completed a
short certificate course from American Business
Institute, which offers courses in word
processing and accounting. These courses helped
him in many ways.

Michael Harrington joined the NYPD (New York
Police Department) in 2002 and rendered his
services till 2009. During his career of seven
years in the department, he fulfilled all his
duties as an officer. He served and protected the
local population, wrote summons, deterred crime
and made arrests. Since his childhood, he had
been passionate about joining the police force
and this passion led him to join the NYPD, which
is the largest municipal police department and
one of the oldest police departments in the
United States. He worked hard to become a police
officer.

Michael Harrington worked at various places
before joining the NYPD. His first jobs were as a
stock broker. He worked at Investors Associates,
Inc. and First Hanover Securities. As a
registered representative and stock broker, he
provided sales and services to both existing and
new accounts. Later on, he joined Clark Boardman
Callaghan/West Publishing, as a sales
representative. He also worked for N.W. Ayer and
Schick technologies, Inc. He handled sales of all
these companies, which offered different
products. Then, he used his sales experience in
education by joining Inspirica, Inc., and Art
Institute of New York City where he followed up
inquiries. Having interest in culture, art, and
sports, he likes to attend concerts and sports
events
