• This means different sub-groups within one main
  group.

• This means that there are many different types of
  Christians, but they all belong to the main
  religion called Christianity.

• A.) Believe in one god
• B.) Follow the teachings of Jesus Christ
• C.) Their holy book is called the bible

• Methodists

Roman Catholics

• This is the largest Christian Church in the
  world.
• The Pope at the Vatican is the head.
• Bishops are said to be successors of the
  apostles. (Jesus disciples)
• Catholics seek forgiveness of sins. (confession)

Church of England

• Called the established church
• Modern in their views allow women as leaders.
• The Supreme Governor is the head of the church.

Methodists

• They study the bible in an orderly way.
• They believe in repentance.
• They have been known to have lively and
  enthusiastic ways of worship.
• Founded by John Wesley.

Baptists

• Only allow adults, not babies
• Have adult baptism
• Have no chain of command, but instead have
  leaders called preachers

• There are more than 41 million members of the
  Baptist church.
