• A. The First Vial (v. 1-2), grievous sores, or
  boils.

• These plagues are literal.
• 4 of the 7 are repetitions of the plagues of
  Egypt.

• Job knew this torment (Job 3)

I. The First, Second, Third Vials (Rev. 161-7)

• B. 2nd Vial (v 3), seas turned to blood.
• These judgments are an intensification of those
  under the first 4 trumpets (Rev 87-13)
• Here whole of sea affected.
• As the blood of a dead man, or thick, clotted,
  stinking, corrupt.
• "Living soul. Literal is "soul of Life" as in
  RV, meaning life itself of all marine creatures.

• C. The Third Vial (V4), waters turned to
  blood.
• Repetition of Egyptian plague.

• Righteous judgments of God (V 5-7)
• No one will accuse God of injustice, not even
  those in hell (Rom. 319).

• A. The Fourth Vial (V 8,9), sun's heat
  intensified.
• In 4th Trumpet (Rev. 812) sun was darkened.
• Now heat of sun intensified, men scorched with
  great heat (Mal. 41,2).
• Men still refuse to repent.

• A. The Fourth Vial (V 8,9), sun's heat
  intensified.
• The center of the sun is very hot (about 15
  million degrees Celsius) and the pressure is
  immense (about 100 billion times the
  airpressure here on Earth).

• The core temperature of the Sun has risen so high
  that in one bang, all the rest of the helium will
  fuse into carbon.
• By this explosion, probably one third of the
  solar envelope will be thrown out into space,
  what happens after that is not well known at
  this time.

• The sun will become brighter, and the outer
  layers will be blown out into space in the form
  of a very dense solar wind. This is what is
  called a planetary nebula and an example of this
  is seen to the right.

• After that, only a white dwarf remains, with a
  mass of about half of the mass of the current
  sun, but with an enormous density of 2 tons per
  cubic centimeter (imagine compressing a car or
  two into a thimble.. ). This white dwarf will
  slowly cool down.

• B. The Fifth Vial (V 10,11) darkness (Mark
  1324).
• Repetition of Egyptian plague (Exod.
  1021-23).
• Still have first plague, sores with awful pain.
• This plague centers on the very throne of the
  Antichrist to show the world that God's judgment
  is on him what he represents.

• C. The Sixth Vial (V. 12) Euphrates dried up
  (Isa. 1115,16).
• 1. 4 great armies will travel east from Africa
  Europe, west from Asia, and south from the
  "northern parts" to meet in the Valley of
  Jehoshaphat or Megiddo in Palestine for
  Armageddon. These are the King of the North,
  King of the South, King of the East, and the
  10-horned Beast or Antichrist, King of the West,
  now ruler of the earth. This battle is described
  more fully in Rev. 19.

• Euphrates (Arabic Al Furat, Turkish Furat), river
  in southwest Asia, rising in Turkey and flowing
  through Syria and Iraq before joining the Tigris
  to form the Shatt al Arab. The Euphrates, along
  with the Tigris River, provided much of the water
  that supported the development of ancient
  Mesopotamian culture.

• Mesopotamia (Greek, between the rivers), one of
  the earliest centers of urban civilization, in
  the area of modern Iraq and eastern Syria between
  the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

• 2. The Euphrates always has been a formidable
  barrier between east and west.
• It is 1800 miles long, several miles wide, and
  from 10 to 30 feet deep.
• The drying up of the Euphrates will produce a
  great natural highway for the armies of the east,
  to gather for Armageddon.

• Near Euphrates Satan won the 1st battle, and near
  Euphrates Satan will lose the last battle.
• Babylon represents all that opposes God.

• MEGIDDO A magnificent site for history, and a
  site on the basis of whose remains many other
  sites in Israel are dated.
• Because Megiddo was continuously occupied, it
  boasts sequence of cultures that is second to no
  other archaeological site in Israel.

• Meggido is the only site in Israel so
  historically important as to appear in the
  written records of Egypt, the Hittite empire, and
  Assyrias empire, not to mention the Bible.

• 2. These are not frogs. That is their Spiritual
  likeness or portrait. Spiritual portrait of
  Satan is as a roaring lion, but actual appearance
  may be as an Angel of Light.

  Tim. 41), sent out by the Satanic Trinity to
  rally the kings of the earth together to battle.

  he is exceedingly happy that it is so generally
  accepted. He originated it so that people would
  never accept. They see right through it.
• 5. The influence of these spirits of demons will
  culminate in Armageddon.

• 6. They are frog-like they come out in
  darkness do their devilish work in the evening
  of man's day creep, croak, and defile, and fill
  the nations with unrest noisy demonstrations
  will speak lies in the ears of the kings with
  enthusiastic delusive sentiment even as the
  Crusades, arousing whole nations to fever pitch.
