The Four Seasons
  • By Jessica Hudson

2
Winter
  • Winter is the coldest season.
  • When going outside, people tend to bundle up by
wearing boots, hats, mittens, and warm winter
    coats.
  • Some animals hibernate in the winter. An example
    is a bear.
  • In the winter it gets dark very early. The
daylight does not seem to last long.

3
Spring
  • In the spring, the snow goes away and the grass
    begins to become green.
  • There is a time change in spring. We set our
clocks one hour forward, or spring forward!
  • We can also put away our hats, and wear light
    coats and sometimes even shorts!
  • It also tends to rain a lot in the spring, hence
the saying, April showers bring May flowers!

4
Summer
  • Unlike winter, the days are long. Daylight last
    well into the evening.
  • Dont forget to lather up the sunscreen! During
summer the earth is facing the sun!
  • It is the warmest of all the seasons, and bathing
suits and tank tops are worn to help fight the
    heat!

5
Fall
  • There is another time change that takes place
during the fall, it is called fall back. We set
    our clocks one hour back.
  • In the fall the trees lose all their leaves to
prepare themselves for winter. But, before they
lose their leaves, they turn colors. The trees
are beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow.
  • Crops are harvested in the fall.
