  • Taipei lies in the northern part of the island
    that is tucked into a basin between the Yangming
    Mountains and Central Mountains. It is occupied
    by 2.6 million inhabitants and the fourth largest
    administrative town of Taiwan. The city has a
    long reputation for being a gourmets paradise
    which boasts of cuisine from every part of China.
    But today it is a home to boutique hotels, trendy
    bars that have sprung up in an array of
    construction sites and ended by the inauguration
    of worlds tallest building, Taipei 101. It is
    constantly developing into a technologically and
    environment-friendly city due to which it is

  • Or-Ah Mee Sua It is a thick vermicelli noodle
    with soup and Or-Ah is the oyster which is

    delicious as you slip down this vermicelli into
    your throat easily. It is usually eaten with the
    help of a spoon and is found at most Taiwanese

Hotpot This is probably a great meal for a
chilly day as the soup is served in pot that is
keep warm with the help of heaters. You can
choose the flavor of the soup like chicken, pork,
spicy or even kimchi. Then you can choose from an
array of raw food you want in your soup like thin
slices of beef, seafood, chicken, pork or
vegetables. The raw food which you have selected

the raw food into the boiling soup to cook it.

    smelly or stinky tofu and these are actually
    marinated tofus that have been kept in seasoned
    brine for several months. They are prepared by
    deep frying in them in oil and served with
