1 CORINTHIANS 131-3

• If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels,
  but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or
  a clanging cymbal.
• If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all
  mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a
  faith that can move mountains, but have not love,
  I am nothing.
• If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender
  my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain
  nothing.

1 CORINTHIANS 134-8

• Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
  it does not boast, it is not proud.
• It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not
  easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
• Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with
  the truth.
• It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
  always perseveres.
• LOVE NEVER FAILS.

JOHN 1331-35

• 31 When he was gone, Jesus said, Now is the Son
  of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. 32
  If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the
  Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.  
• 33 My children, I will be with you only a little
  longer. You will look for me, and just as I told
  the Jews, so I tell you now Where I am going,
  you cannot come.
•  34 A new command I give you Love one another.
  AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, so you must love one
  another.
• 35By this all men will know that you are my
  disciples, if you love one another.

EPHESIANS 320

• Now to Him who is able to do
• exceedingly
• abundantly
• above all
• that we ask or think,
• according to the power that works in us
• WHAT IS THE POWER???

EPHESIANS 317-19

• I pray that you, being rooted and established in
  love,
• may have power, together with all the saints, to
  grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the
  LOVE OF CHRIST,
• and to KNOW THIS LOVE that surpasses knowledge
• that YOU MAY BE FILLED TO THE MEASURE OF ALL THE
  FULLNESS OF GOD.

• THIS IS LOVE
• NOT THAT WE LOVED GOD, BUT THAT HE LOVED US and
  sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our
  sins.
• Dear friends, since God so loved us, WE ALSO
  OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

• And so WE KNOW AND RELY ON THE LOVE GOD HAS FOR
  US. God is love. Whoever lives in (this) love
  lives in God, and God in him.
• In this way, love is made complete among us so
  that we will have confidence on the day of
  judgment, because in this world we are like him.
• There is no fear in (this) love. But perfect love
  drives out fear
• WE LOVE BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US.

LUKE 740-47

• 40 And Jesus answering said to him, Simon, I
  have something to say to you. And he answered,
  Say it, Teacher.
• 41 A certain moneylender had two debtors. One
  owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
  42 When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt
  of both. Now which of them will love him more?
  43 Simon answered, The one, I suppose, for whom
  he cancelled the larger debt. And he said to
  him, You have judged rightly. 44 Then turning
  toward the woman he said to Simon, Do you see
  this woman? I entered your house you gave me no
  water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with
  her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You
  gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she
  has not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 You did not
  anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my
  feet with ointment. 47 Therefore I tell you, her
  sins, which are many, are forgivenfor she loved
  much. But he who is forgiven little, loves
  little.

• As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.

• Who is he that condemns? CHRIST JESUS, who
  diedmore than that, who was raised to LIFEIS AT
  THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD AND IS ALSO INTERCEDING FOR
  US.

  Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or
  famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

ROMANS 837-39

• 37No, in all these things we are more than
  conquerors through him who loved us.

  will be able to separate us from THE LOVE OF GOD
  THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.
