Mission Statement
  • Urban Farming intends to eradicate hunger while
    increasing diversity, motivating youth and
    seniors, and optimizing the production of unused
    land for food and alternative fuel.

Who We Are
  • Urban Farming is a program that intends to plant
    organic food on unused land in the inner city and
    give the food away to the needy.
  • We will utilize the youth programs of faith based
    organizations, high schools and colleges, as well
    as seniors, to provide food for the hungry and
    increase diversity.
  • Urban Farming will create potential retail
    outlets as well as opportunities for youth to
    start their own businesses.

Feeding the Hungry
  • There are many unused acres of land within the
    cities of America.
  • Urban Farming intends to utilize this land to
    help feed the 1 out of 3 people that regularly go
    hungry in the United States each year.
  • Urban Farming will extend its borders to
    countries beyond The United States of America to
    contribute to the realization of a hunger free
    world.

Bridging Generational Gaps
  • Youth, adults and seniors will work side-by
    side-to perform a service for the greater good.
  • Seniors will bestow wisdom to the youth
    participating in the program, preserving the
    tradition of passing good morals and values.

    populations to work toward a common goal
  • Various faith-based
    organizations will plant
    and harvest together,
    teaching acceptance of
    other religions and traditions

    community and creates an atmosphere of pride and
    protectiveness.

    productive activities.

Alternative Fuels
  • Urban Farming will utilize unused land for
    alternative fuel such as biodiesel.

What is Biodiesel?
  • Biodiesel is fuel made from renewable resources
    such as vegetable oils or animal fats. It is
    biodegradable and non-toxic, and has
    significantly fewer emissions than
    petroleum-based diesel when burned. Biodiesel
    functions in current engines, and is a possible
    candidate to replace fossil fuels as the world's
    primary transport energy source.

How We Manage It All
  • Urban Farming has partnered with S.T.A.R.
    Management to oversee our day-to-day operations
    and staffing needs.
  • S.T.A.R. Management is a corporation that takes
    pride in providing managerial services to
    start-up organizations at a fraction of the
    standard cost. S.T.A.R. Management brings over
    11 years of experience in the area of human
    resources which incorporates employee relations,
    staffing and compensation.

Providing Jobs
  • In 2006, Urban Farming will employ approximately
    30 people to clean-up, farm and maintain 10,000
    acres of land.
  • In 2007, our employment rate will increase 300.
    Urban Farming will employ approximately 120
    people to clean-up, farm and maintain 40,000
    acres of land.
